Founded in 2017 by Eddie Ross and Jaithan Kochar, Maximalist Studios brings together the creative eye of a seasoned decorating editor with the entrepreneurial spirit of a Stanford graduate.

After working in television and publishing for more than a decade, producing content for Better Homes & Gardens, Food Network, Martha Stewart Living and House Beautiful, Eddie parlayed his talents into a singular vision for creating beauty and inspiring others.

As Chief Content Creator of Maximalist Studios, Eddie conceptualizes campaigns, curates product selections, designs sets and art directs shoots.

Now his images tell new stories, infusing every object we photograph—from sofas to saltcellars—with an editorial sensibility that surprises and delights consumers. His passion for collecting fuels a growing prop house of vintage and new finds, while his dream to teach classes in the living arts—from food and flowers to gardening, styling and entertaining—finally has a home.

Running the studioʼs operations is Chief Executive Officer, Jaithan Kochar, who collaborates closely with Eddie on every project to execute deliverables on time and within budget. He liaises personally with every client, guiding them through production from concept to completion.
